Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the CG General suite (“the add-ons”), operated by Muhammad Haris Saleem, trading as The Fridge, United Kingdom. Contact: support@cggeneral.net.

By creating an account or using the add-ons, you agree to these terms.

1. Licence

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the add-ons on computers you own or control, for personal or commercial project work.

You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense or publish the add-ons or their source code, or remove or circumvent licensing, account or credit mechanisms.

Your work is yours. We claim no rights over the scenes, renders, models or other content you create, including anything produced with the help of advice from the add-ons.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use AI features. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Accounts are for a single user and must not be shared.

3. Consultations (credits)

AI features are metered in units called Consultations.

• Consultations are a usage balance, not a count of consultations. A single consultation spends a variable number of Consultations depending on how much of your scene needs to be examined. A simple product shot costs less than a complex interior with many lights.
• Your remaining balance is shown in the add-on Preferences.
• Consultations have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts.
• Consultations never expire.
• If a consultation fails because of a technical error on our side, we do not charge you. If you are charged in error, contact support and we will correct it.

4. Payments

You buy the add-ons through Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record for your purchase; Lemon Squeezy's own terms also apply to the transaction.

Prices may change. A price change does not affect a purchase you have already made.

5. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy, under Lemon Squeezy's refund policy, which currently allows refund requests within 60 days of purchase.

If something is not working, please contact us first at support@cggeneral.net, most problems are fixable, and we would rather fix them.

Where a refund is issued, any Consultations granted with that purchase are removed from your balance: a top-up refund removes the unused portion, and a subscription payment refund removes that period's full grant. We invalidate the redemption method used with a fully refunded purchase.

This platform policy may change. Lemon Squeezy's current published policy applies at the time of your purchase, and takes precedence over this page.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights. Because Lemon Squeezy acts as the seller for your purchase, any statutory cancellation rights you have as a consumer are handled by it at checkout.

6. AI-generated advice, no guarantee

The add-ons use an AI service to produce lighting analysis and suggestions. This advice is generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your scene. It is offered as a starting point for your own judgement, not as a professional or guaranteed result.

You are responsible for reviewing any change before applying it, and for the final content of your work. Always keep your own backups, the add-ons can modify your scene, and while changes can normally be undone, you should not rely on that as your only safeguard.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the add-ons to break the law, to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems, to submit content you have no right to submit, or to generate content that violates the acceptable use policy of our AI provider.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or that abuse the credit system.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The AI features depend on third-party services and may be unavailable at times. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product develops.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the add-ons is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost work, or indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Termination

You may stop using the add-ons and close your account at any time by emailing support@cggeneral.net. Closing your account ends your access, and any remaining Consultations are lost.

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached or the credit system is abused. In that case unused Consultations are forfeited, except where a refund is due.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your home country.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
